ST. MONICA ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY
& NURSING HOME MINISTRY

The Nursing Home Visitors Ministry had its beginning, the year 1990.
This ministry is a social concerns organization,
whose function is to visit members of our parish community
who are currently residing in assisted living facilities and in nursing homes.
Currently, we visit approximately 60 parishioners in 30 different locations.

Our goal is to let these brothers and sisters know
they are still important members of our family of faith.
Friends, who are in our thoughts and in our prayers.

The members of our ministry visit pray with our parishioners
and remember them with cards on special occasions
such as, Easter, Christmas, etc.
We participate in the St. Nicholas gift sharing program
during the Advent Season by distributing gifts from the parish,
to all of our assisted living facilities and nursing home residents.

At 7:00 p.m., the third Tuesday of every other month of the school year,
you can find us in one of the meeting rooms in the parish office building.
If you have an hour or two a month you can spare,
a warm smile you would like to share,
please consider joining this most rewarding ministry.
